A small but friendly farm set in nature and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves,with a magnificent panoramim view of the coast, “Maestrale”, is ready to be your host year round and offer you a peaceful stay in beautiful Sardinia.
We are primarily wine makers and the ‘agriturismo’ is set in a vineyard.
We have olive groves and produce extra virgin olive oil and table olives
Most of the grapes are transformed directly on our farm with into red wines like: Cannonau, San Giovese, Carignano, Vermentino DOC, Syra, Merlot e Cagnulari.
We also grow durum wheat "Cappelli", which we use to make home made bread and fruit, from which we make the preserves that we serve at breakfast.
Maestrale is located on the SS 292 ,the road between Oristano and Alghero, on a small hill about 50 meters above sea level.
There is a splendid panoramic view of the coast from Tharros all the way to the ruins of Cornus. In front of us extends the beautiful Sinis peninsula (Cabras), rich in lagoons salt flats and beaches among which Is Aruttas ,Maimone, Putzu Idu, Sa Mesa Longa, and S’ Archittu all within a five minutes drive.
Surrounding us is a peaceful and silent countryside at the foot of Montiferru and the immense pine grove of Is Arenas, with a beautiful golf course and 7 km of sandy beach (only two kilometers from the ‘agriturismo’).
To the east lies Monte di Seneghe ,Santu Lussurgiu and Cuglieri, with oak woods, fresh water springs, wildlife and mountain itineraries.
In about an hour you can reach most of the areas in the interior of the island: La Giara , with its Sardinian ponies, Ortueri, where you can see the wild donkies, Fordongianus, with its Roman thermal baths, various archeological sites and much more.
Inside the farmhouse we have 5 double or twin rooms all with an added bunk bed.
The rooms have an independent entrance, private bathroom, are equipped with refrigerator, room cooler, drying rack and towels. One of these is also equipped to accommodate disabled people.
The spacious, bright and welcoming rooms overlook a loggia where they each have chairs and a table, and where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view. Cleaning and change of linen (sheets and towels) is done weekly.
The rooms are sanitized with dry steam at 170 ° at each guest change.
The price of an overnight stay with breakfast included is € 30,00 a person.
The price of an overnight stay with breakfast and a meal is € 45,00 a person.
Children under 6 years of age stay for free.
Children under 12 years of age pay half price.
